Surfboard CHANNEL ISLANDS X-lite Chancho 7.6 Red
Whether you're a beginner surfer or just want to enjoy a cruise session, the Chancho is a super easy to surf, stable board that catches waves effortlessly. For its medium size, the Chancho offers plenty of volume and a flat nose rocker that makes it possible to catch waves early. Its V-bottom contour, which runs through the fins to the tail, helps with effortless turning.
The board is a further development of the popular WATER HOG board from shaper Al Merrick.
Dimensions Volume
7.6 x 22 x 2 7/8 56 Lit
Fin box: Futures Thruster
Scope of delivery: Board without fins
TORQ X-LITE TECHNOLOGY
The Torq X-Lite technology takes the already innovative epoxy construction to unimagined heights in terms of weight and performance.
The core of the boards consists of a specially manufactured high-precision EPS blank, which is coated with biaxial fabric and epoxy resin. An additional layer of impact resistant protective mesh is applied to the deck of the X-Lite boards, which distributes the pressure of impacts evenly over the surface and thus protects against dings and heel dents.
The underside is equipped with a torsion-resistant carbon strip, which controls the flex and makes the board incredibly responsive.
The X-Lite construction is distinguished from conventional PU/polyester construction by its more environmentally friendly production process and unmatched weight to strength ratio.
