Our team riders tested this in all conditions, from windy and waist high to overhead and hollow. From race cars to racing yachts, the highest performance composites are made and processed from pre-preg materials. It is the pinnacle of composite technology.
Through years of working with epoxy surfboards, developing and testing pre-preg materials, we have developed the world's first EPS / epoxy pre-preg surfboard. This is a significant advance in surfboard technology.
The term pre-preg describes a material in which the resin is mechanically pre-impregnated under control. Pre-preg composites are cured under heat and high pressure. Baking ensures a much stronger hardening of the resin.
The effects on surfboards are numerous - more accuracy, less waste, perfect reproduction - but the biggest advantage lies in the performance of the main factors in relation to each other: flex and strength to weight.
